If you are buying new ceiling or wall lights you may be wondering whether to try to put it up yourself. Why not book our Lighting Installation Service. Its quick, convenient and ensures that the light is installed safely.

How does it work?

You purchase the replacement light fittings that you want and we install them at a time that is convenient for you (we even offer a Saturday morning service )

What is included?

We carry out the necessary checks to ensure that the existing lighting connection is safe for continued use. This will require us to turn off the electrical supply for a period of time. We will also verify that the ceiling can handle the installation of the new light fitting and we will remove the old light fitting. We will assembly the existing light fitting if required and then install it in the same place as the old fitting. We will issue a maintenance report for the work carried out.

How much does it cost?

The first light fitting costs £50 and each subsequent one is £25 inclusive.

Terms and conditions

• Service is for a like for like replacement for a wall / ceiling light, recessed downlighters are not covered
• The fitting is no higher than 3m
• Customer is located withing CPJ Electrics Limited Service Area
• We will not make good around any ceiling decorations
• If there is a problem with the electrical circuit then a revised scope of work will be discussed and agreed
